Tickets & Seating
Tickets are available exclusively through the link on our website.*
*Note: we do not guarantee and are not responsible for tickets purchased anywhere else, including ticket resale sites. Be sure you purchase your tickets directly through the link on the Ramona Rodeo website.
It depends on their age:

Children under 2 years old are free with a paid adult ticket.

Children ages 3 and up require a paid ticket.

On Thursday night, we offer a special children’s ticket for ages 6 and under.
General guideline: if a child will be taking up a seat in the bleachers, they will need a ticket.
This is a rain or shine event. Ticket sales are non-refundable and all ticket sales are final.
No. All seats are on a first come, first serve basis in all areas of admission (General Admission, Preferred & VIP).

Preferred Seating (NEW LOCATION!)
For an incredible, close-up view of the fast-paced rodeo action, Preferred Seating is now located on the West end of the arena, right by the timed-event chutes and directly across from the bucking chutes.

Yes. Entry gates are on the exterior perimeter of the ROCC and you must have a ticket to enter.
*Note – Tickets are NOT required for Slack, Cowboy Church, or Sam’s Posse Round Up Rodeo. These events are open to the public and free of charge.
NO. For everyone’s safety and for the integrity of our tickets, there will be NO gate re-entry permitted. Please plan accordingly.
Getting Here & Parking
$10 per vehicle (cash only)
ALL ticket types must pay for parking, including our VIP ticket holders.
NO. Parking is not included with any type of ticket. All vehicles are $10 each (cash only), regardless of ticket type.
No. While your VIP ticket does give you access to the VIP parking area, it does not include the parking fee of $10 per vehicle.
Be sure to have your VIP ticket available on your phone or printed to be directed to the VIP parking area.
While technically, yes, you may leave and come back, there are NO in/out privileges included with your parking fee. If you choose to leave you will need to pay for parking upon your return.
Prohibited Items
- Outside food/beverage containers (this includes coolers, outside food or drink, alcohol of any kind, opened water bottles & thermoses)
- Camera bags, point & shoot cameras, cameras with detachable lenses, video cameras of any kind, tripods, monopods, GoPro’s, selfie sticks and drones
- Weapons of any kind (unless you are an on-duty, uniformed police officer)
- Illegal drugs of any kind
YES. Rodeo fans are permitted to bring factory sealed (unopened) disposable plastic water bottles, only.
Pets
No. Personal pets are not allowed onto the grounds.
Only Service Animals as legally defined by California State, San Diego County, Federal Laws and ADA compliance laws will be allowed. Service Animals must be leashed and under control at all times.
No. Pets may not be left in vehicles per Code 62.700 and 62.701.
Weather & Attire
The show goes on! The Ramona Rodeo is a rain or shine event. Dress accordingly and join us for a fantastic show!
- We always suggest checking the latest weather forecast on your favorite weather app or station, then dress accordingly!
- Many Rodeo guests like to dress in Western wear for the Rodeo or to match the daily theme/colors. This is encouraged, but not required.

Alcoholic Beverages
Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase by guests 21 years and older at in several locations:
When gates open and during the rodeo:
- The Watering Hole South – our main bar located near the south west end of the grandstands
- The Watering Hole North – our secondary bar located on the north side of the grounds, behind the announcer’s tower, near the north entry gate
During the dance:
- The Last Drop – the beverage window in the building across from the dance floor
Visit one of our three conveniently located ticket booths to show ID, get wristbanded, and buy drink tickets using cash or card.
Our alcohol ticket tables will accept both cash and credit card.
No. All bars accept drink tickets only — no cash or cards.

Generally, Rodeo guests over the age of 21 are permitted to purchase two alcoholic beverages at at time. However, this is dictated by the ABC and occasionally may be restricted to a single beverage per person at a time.
This is a requirement from the ABC. All alcoholic beverage containers must be opened by Rodeo bar staff.
In accordance with California law, we are obligated to refuse service to anyone exhibiting signs of intoxication and we reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.
All guests who wish to consume alcohol must have a valid ID which verifies that they are 21 years of age or older. We are unable to serve alcohol to anyone without a valid ID, regardless of age.
You must visit our Alcohol ID Check & Ticket Booth to show your ID and obtain an age-verified wristband.
All alcoholic beverages served at the Rodeo bars range from $8 for beer, wine, seltzer & cider to $10 for canned cocktails. (price and selection subject to change)
No. In accordance with our ABC license, outside alcohol of any kind is strictly prohibited both in the rodeo grounds and in the parking lot areas.
Other
There is no smoking of any kind permitted in the stands. (this includes vape pens)
When choosing to smoke elsewhere on the Rodeo grounds, we kindly ask that you be aware of your surroundings and fellow Rodeo fans.

We are proud to be a PRCA Rodeo. To compete in any of the events (including bull riding and barrel racing), you will need to be registered with ProCom and have your PRCA card.
